Dažniausiai užduodami klausimai
- Does a thermal drone work at night?
- Yes — at night and in twilight a thermal camera is often more effective than regular video, because the animal's body temperature stands out from the surroundings. However, dense vegetation and buildings can still limit visibility.
- Can a drone find an animal in a forest?
- It can help survey forest paths, clearings and edges faster than on foot, but thick undergrowth and trees can mask the signal. This is not a guarantee.
- Can a drone see through trees?
- Not through them. Thermal imaging captures surface heat — dense canopy or tree trunks can hide the animal or cause false signals.
- When is a drone less effective?
- In urban areas, on small territories, when the last location is known and the pet may be hiding in buildings — start with on-foot local search, notices and neighbours first.
