Be specific: name, location, time, distinctive features and contact. Avoid excessive emotional text — what matters most is that people quickly understand what you're looking for.
What information is essential?
At minimum — where they went missing or were last seen, and how to reach you. The more detail (colour, collar, distinctive marks), the easier they are to recognise.
Should I offer a reward?
That's your decision. A reward can sometimes draw more attention, but a clear description and photo matter most. We don't recommend promising unrealistic amounts.
Where should I post about a missing pet?
In Facebook groups for your area, on Instagram, in Messenger chats with neighbours, on flyers and in local community groups. More tips — in the Guides section.
